When you order products from DEAN & DELUCA you can be assured we will ship your merchandise with the utmost care. We use only the best shipping processes to deliver products that are fresh and simply superb – right to your door! Please check the information below to review our shipping policies.

All items are shipped from our fulfillment center in Wichita, Kansas, our wine warehouse in Napa, California, or directly from our purveyors. We strive to ship orders the same day they are placed, but in some instances orders may require 2 business days to ship. The shipping process for each location is as follows:

For items shipped from our fulfillment center:

For ground shipping, orders placed by Friday at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) will ship that day.
For express shipping, orders placed by Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. EST will ship that day. Orders placed after that will ship the following Monday.
For overnight delivery (both regular and early a.m.), orders placed by Thursday at 4:30 p.m. EST will ship that day. Orders placed after that will ship the following Monday.
For overnight delivery on Friday, customers can choose Saturday delivery for orders placed by Friday at 4:30 p.m. EST.
UPS requires a signature for delivery to an apartment

For wine orders:

Orders placed after 11:00am CST on Mondays will ship on Tuesdays.
Orders placed after 11:00am CST on Tuesdays will ship on Wednesdays.
Orders placed after 11:00am CST on Wednesdays will ship on Mondays.
A credit card is required to place wine or spirit orders shipping by a third party shipper.
UPS requires a signature for delivery to an apartment

All items are shipped from either our fulfillment center in Wichita, Kansas, our wine warehouse in Napa, California, or directly from our purveyors.

Perishables
Please note that all perishable items are automatically shipped NEXT DAY (next business day) to ensure your product arrives in superb condition. All fresh and frozen food products are carefully packaged to maintain optimum quality. As needed, your order will be packed with dry ice or ice packs and placed in an insulated container for shipment.

Delivery
We guarantee delivery only to the address you provide. Shipments that you re-direct and shipments to incorrect or incomplete addresses cannot be guaranteed to deliver on time. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Shipping Times

In-stock items ordered before 4:30 p.m. EST are usually shipped the same day. Delays may occur due to weather, availability or other circumstances.

All items are shipped from our fulfillment center in Wichita, Kansas, with the exception of items that ship directly from our purveyors, and wine, which is shipped from Napa, California. Items shipped directly from our purveyors, as well as wine, may require up to 48 hours of additional time to ship. Items that come from purveyors are so noted in the product description. In some cases, items ordered together are not necessarily shipped in the same box.

•	Under normal conditions, orders placed before 4:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday will ship that day.
•	Orders placed after 4:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday will ship the following day.
•	Orders placed after 4:30 p.m. EST on Friday will ship the following Monday as we are unable to ship during the weekend. Also, please note that Saturday and Sunday are not counted in the transit times listed on our site.

Orders containing perishables, placed between 4:30 p.m. EST Thursday and 4:30 p.m. EST Monday, will ship on Monday if a Saturday delivery is not chosen.

Saturday Delivery
This service is available in limited areas for an additional fee.

If you would like to specify future shipping dates to reserve your selections now, you may choose a future date during check out or call our Customer Service Center at 800.221.7714.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Dean & DeLuca takes great pride in selecting the finest products available. If for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for replacement, credit or refund. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of perishable items. We do not accept returned items that were purchased in one of our retail locations, nor will our retail locations accept returned items purchased from the catalog or from our website. We will accept non-perishable returns within 30 days of receipt.

Wrap the package well, include the return form found on the back of the packing list/invoice enclosed in your order and ship it to us at the address below. Remember to insure it for full value. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated per ship-to address and are based on the total cost of your order, as illustrated in the following table. Wine shipping is calculated by weight and not by value. We do not charge any shipping costs for gift card shipping Ground. We only charge shipping costs when we expedite shipping for gift cards.

Shipping Restrictions

Shipping options to Alaska and Hawaii are determined by delivery area. Therefore, orders to these areas must be placed directly with a representative. Please contact Customer Service at 800.221.7714 for assistance.

All items are shipped from our fulfillment center in Wichita, Kansas, with the exception of items that ship directly from our purveyors, and wine, which is shipped from Napa, California. All wine shipments require the signature of a person at least 21 years of age.

Promotional Shipping Codes

Shipping promotional offers apply to orders that meet applicable sale amounts in merchandise before normal taxes and shipping/handling rates shipping to a single address only. Promotions do not apply to overnight delivery, 2nd day or Saturday delivery unless specifically denoted. Excludes wines. Not valid outside the 48 contiguous United States, or to PO Boxes, APO’s and FPO’s. Cannot be combined with any other offer, or applied to previous orders.
