Summer Fruits in D'Arbo Fruit Syrup
a generous mixture of summer fruit, such as berries, peaches, nectarines and plums, peeled and roughly chopped
enough D'Arbo fruit syrup to bathe the fruit, plus sugar to taste
slices of pound cake, angel food cake, or individual shortcakes
ice cream, gelato, or sorbet
1. Toss the fruit with the syrup and sugar and let sit for 30 minutes.
2. Top slices of cake with ice cream, then spoon fruit and juices on top.
