      The Americana tin can cookies are amazing! I was shocked at the size of the tin can! The tin can is larger in person than what is photographed in the catalogue and online. In addition, the cookies are very good. I like mine best heated in the microwave for ten seconds.

        Service and delivery comments:

        I had ordered the German cookie collection. I did not get it. When I placed the order, it was confirmed that everything was in stock. When I was on my trip for Christmas, I received my order, and only two things arrived. A big mistake was made. So, after the back and forth of many emails, these Americana cookies were sent. I thought they were the apology. They were the substitution. I was still waiting for the German cookies. I would not have chosen these to replace the Spekulaas,etc.

                These we enjoyed over the holidays and into the spring. great packaging, fabulous selection and delicious ingredients. We recently ordered as part of a bereavement gift (together w/ smoked salmon and cheese) for my uncle and aunt in maryland who also raved about them.

                  I received the Americana cookie tin twice as a gift from a friend. This year when a shipment of fruit arrived instead of the cookies, I headed downtown to pick up a tin for myself. Dean & Deluca describes this assortment as homey and I would agree because everyone found a favorite flavor and clearly nostalgia was in play. However, they are also refined enough to appeal to fussier cookie eaters. Excellent texture and rich flavors. Excellent to send because they arrive well protected in vertical columns by flavor. Also, very easy to bring to a party. The price is fair, because we put together a cookie plate at a bakery and paid more. Enjoy.

                  I ordered these cookies because we were having a group of friends over & thought they'd make a nice dessert addition. They were awful...some of the worst-tasting cookies I've ever had. I cannot believe how much they cost relative to the quality of the product...extremely disappointing. If I hadn't used a gift card, I probably would have requested a refund. D&D should be embarrassed that they offer this item.
