Baked for us by the pastry chef at California's legendary Frog Hollow Farm, our country-style Apple Galette is made with a mixture of thinly sliced organic Johnny Gold and other seasonal apples tossed with Bourbon vanilla, spread over a lightly sweetened layer of apple sauce, and baked in a "ruff puff" pastry.
