Despite the negative reviews I saw on website, I thought I would give this roast a chance. I'm from the Midwest, so we know good beef - this ain't it. Bland, too much gristle (for the cut and quality I expected). This is the most I ever paid for a beef roast that wasn't prime. I will never buy this beef again. I trusted Dean & DeLuca to provide excellent quality food products. Sorry to say I am too disappointed to trust them again at least with meat products.

This meat was very dissapointing. It was only choice meat for this price seems crazy. We had had Brandt at Press and wanted to try this. The meat had more fat than most roasts and was a low quality piece of meat with little taste.
