Comments about Family Reserve Oxtails:
While I've often considered myself a "meat guy", I was always a bit wary of oxtail, as it seemed a bit "too much" for me. However, when I attended a charity event for the Appalachian Mountain Club, I sampled some of the "Private Reserve Oxtails", and was totally hooked. Do NOT think of oxtails as as simply a stew meat or base for a stock. When prepared properly, as these are, it can totally stand on its own.
