I personally liked the chocolates. There was a distinct "heat", but nothing overpowering. The chocolate itself was smooth and just bitter enough to go well with the heat. No overwhelming "flavor" per-se, but a distinct dark chocolate taste that I like. A great change from the uber-sweet milk choclates I normally get and the dark chocolate was not chalky or crumbly as some are.

Bought these for my "spanish" husband for Valentines Day. He was very disappointed. After eatting just one he refused to try any others. I tried as well and was equally disappointed. Far too much chili spices. As far as the remainder chocolates in the box, I can't even give them away, there are no takers.
I am a frequent purchaser for friends and family and recently purchased 2 items for my home and was disappointed with both. I now question the quality of the items I have purchased in the past for gifts and if the price is really worth it.

Ordered 15 of the top chocolates across the USA for a fundraiser. This is the only product guests left on the table. I love strong, spicy chocolate, but this felt unbalanced. Packaging poor! Chocolates askew inside of the box and the overall presentation lacking.

These went into my husband's Christmas stocking and he loved them, savoring each of them rather than wolfing them down like he usually does with chocolate. He said they were the best chocolates he'd ever had, being both a spice and chocolate addict.

Interesting combination to mix chili and chocolate...but sometimes it's a bit too hot to enjoy the candy. The toffee is the best one! It's worth trying just for the experience.
