    Comments about Texturas Spherification Minikit:

I've had this kit for two weeks. It provided some fun on our family holiday, but I was disappointed in the instructions and recipe guide. Given that this is a new and unfamiliar technique the descriptions, hints, and explanations of what is going on should be much more extensive. There are only a few recipes and there are no discussions of how they might be generalized. The Textura website should be consulted before purchasing this. It has more information a few additional recipes. But be careful, the kit only supports "reverse spherification" and the website and the eBulli cookbook contain mostly recipes for "true spherification." This is less expensive than a flight to Spain and a reservation at eBulli, but it is still quite a price for a culinary toy.
