Worse than disappointing

Comments about Daniel Boulud Salmon - 2 lbs.:
I was delighted to receive a lovely 2-lb box of smoked salmon as a holiday gift--until I took the first bite. Excessively fatty hardly does it justice. Large veins of fat ran all through it and pretty well disguised whatever flavor there was. This salmon was bland and greasy.

Fabulous product

About Me Love to Cook
I purchased this as a gift for my husband because of his love for fine food. This was a special item since we frequent Chef Boulud's restaurant in NYC and practically purr when we dine there. I knew at first glance that this was going to be an exceptional product and I was not disappointed. This is the most flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth, salmon filet ever. Chef Boulud has done it again and I am grateful that Dean & Deluca has his products available for purchase. Yum!!!!
