St. Germain Liqueur

St. Germain Liqueur

St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur is the creation of Robert Cooper, third Gerneration distiller and former owner of Chambord liqeuer. He refers to St. Germain as "the first liqueur in the world created in the artisanal French manner from freshly handpicked elderberry blossoms" Handpicked small white blossoms from the French Alps where elder bushes grow abundantly were preferred for the maceration. St. Germain's packaging reflects the artisan nature of its production. The shapely eight-sided bottle was crafted as a homage to the vibrant art deco period in St. Germain. Each bottle is finished with a heavy stopper and individually numbered and marked with the vintage year. USA

        Comments about St. Germain Liqueur:

Sorry I gave 2 bottles as gifts! Wish I had kept them both. I ordered online and to get mine shipped from New York to Wisconsin. I shared with family and we ALL love it. May just be different and tastes good no matter what you put it in.

          Comments about St. Germain Liqueur:

Occasionally I'll order this at a bar, in a mixed drink. I like it as something to have in my home, though. I love sweet drinks, so it may not be for everyone, but you can mix it with something less sweet or even bitter to offset the sugar. Great, relatively unknown liqueur. I"d say it's highly under appreciated.
