When I first tried it the thing that stuck out was the mysterious feel it created on the tongue. Hard to describe but unique and delightful. I compared it to my Hennessy XO and the Germain-Robin XO has a complexity and flavor that was more intense yet very smooth. It simply offered more to enjoy than the Hennessy XO. This is really top shelf brandy. Highly recommend trying it if you are a cognac lover.
