DEAN & DELUCA's Chili Powder Blend is a rich, dark blend of ground medium-heat chiles with cumin, oregano, garlic and salt. Add a pinch to sautéed potatoes and onions, or perk up scrambled eggs. Simmer with rice, green peppers and tomatoes, or use as a ready-made rub for grilled pork or prawns. Also fills out barbecue sauces and salsas and makes exquisite chili, of course. Comes in a large tin that measures 3" diam. x 2" high. USA

I am an avid chili maker and this chili powder blend is the best I have ever tasted - my chili is better than ever! Did a blind taste test before I used it against my former favorite and it won hands down. Buying some for all my kids to use in their cooking!

I added this to my order because a reviewer said it was so much better than what you get at the grocery store and we eat a lot of chicken chili. A lot. I agree, it's yummier. Maybe I can afford to use it on every third batch.

I saw this at my sister's house and used it to make chili. It was the best I ever made. Over the course of last winter, I made a few more pots and finished the tin. My sister hasn't notice yet so I must replace hers and order my own...lol.

Ever made a great pot of chili, using only the finest ingredients, but used supermarket chili powder? It tastes good, but not GREAT? This chili powder will change that problem! It is spicy and complex with a great punget aroma. IT really makes a difference in chili, taco fillings, and other savory dishes. You will not be disappointed!

This is a spice drawer staple at our house and makes it easy to whip up a taco or burrito night. For quick & healthy taco/burrito filling, add it to simmering ground turkey with salt and garlic powder. For slower cooking, brown up some chicken breasts on the stove, add some scoops of the chile blend with salt, garlic powder, chicken broth to cover, spicy pumpkin seeds and a roasted Anaheim pepper and ancho flakes, cover and stick in the oven at 250 until the meat is falling off the bone. Finish with some fresh squeezed lime and enjoy! Mmmmmm-mmmm, good! Our daughter has a picky eater buddy who requests burrito night every time she visits and this is the only spice blend that works every time!
