I had to try this particular flavoring since I saw "It's Complicated" with Meryl Streep. I had to find out what Lavender Ice Cream tasted like because she made it and Alec Baldwin sat by the bathtub and ate it. It was delightful and ever so subtle. I will definitely make it again. I had also tasted it in a creamy sauce over Salmon at a fancy restaurant in Roseville, CA just two weeks before seeing the movie. I had to have it!

Love the packaging. Have used these lavender buds for years and the containers keep them ready until I am ready to use. This year made neck rice bags that provide relaxation and aroma therapy when heated in the microwave.
Last year used them to make lavender oil in an 18th century still in an 18th century demonstration kitchen,

Every year I make a lavender cake that everyone raves about. The only place I can find eatible lavender is with Dean and Deluca, thank you for this perfect product. The cake is always a fabulous hit.

The quility of the Lavender Flowers was superb. I made a Peach and Cornmeal Upside-Down Cake that had lavender flowers as an ingredient. The lavender flowers added the nicest flavor to my cake. This reciepe was the first time I knew you could eat lavender flowers! Now that I know they blend well with so many foods, I shall incorporate them into other dishes.

A delicate but distinct taste. Floral notes and definate lavender smell. Wonderful in lavender- blueberry ice cream and lavender shortbread cookies.

LOVED IT!! My boyfriend bought me the tin full of fresh and fragrant lavendar flowers! I put the tin in front of my fan on my desk at work. I am feeling more calm and meditative by the minute!
