AUTHOR, JULIA TURSHEN is a writer and the author of Small Victories. In this cookbook of more than 400 recipes, each recipe involves one, or a few, “small victories” for the home cook to feel good about. Turshen has also co-authored such cookbooks as Spain…A Culinary Road Trip with Mario Batali, It’s All Good with Gwyneth Paltrow, Mastering My Mistakes in the Kitchen with Dana Cowin, and The Kimchi Chronicles, Hot Bread Kitchen: The Cookbook, The Fat Radish Kitchen Diaries, and Buvette: The Pleasure of Good Food. She hosted the first two seasons of Radio Cherry Bombe and has written for Vogue, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Saveur, SELF, The Wall Street Journal, and Lucky Peach. She lives in upstate New York with her wife, dogs, and cat.

Alison Roman

 

MODERATOR, ALISON ROMAN is a freelance food writer and recipe developer, working on her first cookbook, Dining In, to be published by Clarkson Potter in Fall 2017. Currently a contributor for Bon Appetit Magazine and The New York Times and formerly the Senior Food Editor at BuzzFeed, her work has also appeared in the likes of Cherry Bombe, Darling, and Lucky Peach. In 2015, Short Stack Editions published her first book on her favorite ingredient, lemons. Originally from Los Angeles, she lives in Brooklyn where she tries to eat pizza for every meal, sometimes successfully.
