Comments about Mariage Frères French Breakfast Tea:

Wow! I have had a lot of great tea, but the flavor on this is brilliant, really. It's pricey but for good reason. Let's start with the packaging. Stunning! I received this as a gift and as a tea enthusiast, I really appreciated it. The packaging is well thought out and luxurious. When you open the canister and pop open the seal, the aroma from the tea is divine. The flavor is big and bold but smooth, great for first thing in the morning. I take mine with milk and sugar.

Comments about Mariage Frères French Breakfast Tea:

I'm sitting here at my computer drinking a cup of French Breakfast Tea right now and I'm remembering a trip to Paris last summer to the Louvre, where I first found this tea at a Mariage Freres' shop there. The heady chocolate aroma instantly takes me there and I'm remembering the crispy, warm, butter-flavored croissant at the pâtisserie--hummm; just heavenly!

Drinking this special tea always takes me back there, and I don't even need to get on a plane for 12 hours to enjoy it! Seriously, you've got to try this tea~it is by and far my favorite tea. When I want to indulge in my guilty little pleasure I like to use half-and-half and sugar. I know, sinful--right! But it's soooo good!

Super grateful that Dean & Deluca offers it here in the US!

Comments about Mariage Frères French Breakfast Tea:

I like a number of different Mariage teas, but for a smooth, classic tea that refreshes, this is the one. Needs no sugar, lemon, or milk - perfect as is!

Comments about Mariage Frères French Breakfast Tea:

I drink tea instead of coffee and the Mariage Freres French Breakfast Tea is the best tea I've found. We travel frequently, have spent a good deal of time in Paris, Rome and other European cities and have found nothing better. I'm so glad it is available here in the U.S.

Comments about Mariage Frères French Breakfast Tea:

This is a beautiful tea, rich not bitter with a hint of vanilla. As its name implies, it is the perfect morning tea. Also great when you need an afternoon pick-me-up (Try their Darjeeling for a lighter afternoon tea.). I suggest the loose tea and a short brewing time. It only takes 2 or 3 minutes to get a strong cup. I drink it black, but have also tried it with a small amount of honey--delicious. So happy to find Mariage Freres in the US.

Comments about Mariage Frères French Breakfast Tea:

Tea is our typical morning drink, and my husband, having grown up in England, is fond of many varieties. This is by far his favorite. It has an amazing smoky quality and depth without the bitterness common in strong tea.

We discovered the Mariage Freres tea room through our Paris city guide last summer, and, unable to taste anything, chose a few different types of tea by name and smell alone. They are all wonderful, each with unique flavors I've not experienced in other teas.
