We served this at a diner party for dessert and everyone loved it. It's not overly sweet and gooey like some apple pies can be. The sour cream really gives it a good balance of sweet and tart. Well worth the price even though it is a tad expensive. I'm sure we will purchase this pie again.

We ordered three pies for this past thanksgiving: the pumpkin, that apple, and the pecan. Of all the three, the pumpkin was my least favorite and the apple was my most favorite. I would order this pie again. It was so rich and tasty, I love eating it with coffee ice cream. However, I have eaten better apple pies.

This is the best apple pie that I've ever had. I had it shipped to my parents' home for Christmas. My parents loved it and declared it the best apple pie they'd ever had as well.
The pie is extremely sweet and not too cinnamony. The top crust is sweet and crunchy. It may not appeal to those who prefer less sweet pies. I thought it was perfect, though. There isn't one thing that I would change about it.

I'm a baker myself and can make this pie but it is a lot of work. Pick up one of these babies and slip it carefully into your own pie pan and your friends will be in awe of you.
