First of all, it is so beautifully packaged -- the lovely red bow and package was stunning! And then the chocolates themselves! Oh my! I didn't realize, however, that the map for the flavors was on the bottom of the box and so I ate them all and didn't share with my fiance who is allergic to nuts. I was afraid it'd be like a game of Russian Roulette to have him try one. And after I ate the last one and went to recycle the box, THEN I found the map. Oh well!

My wife loves these chocolates. All I have to do is give her these with a nice bottle of champagne and I am golden! It's a great choice for Valentine's Day or just because. By the way, she shares them with me and I love them too. Don Juan and Caramel Caresse are my favorites. She loves Madame 'X'tasy with her morning coffee. Really good stuff.

I love visiting the factory, but thankful that it's on the shelves. As a frequent dinner quest (yes, I'm lucky) I love the oohs and aahs from the much-appreciative hostess when I present Chocolat Moderne. Thank you CM over and over. I always hear, "they're too beautiful to eat". HAAA. My girlfriend agrees and is dropping hints about Valentines Day. No mystery what I'm getting her. We've tried them all. My best recommendation! Oh yes ... try their new MODERNE BARS when you can find them.

Beautiful. Perfect. Divine. This is the best chocolate I have ever had (and I have had ALOT of chocolate)! The bonbons are a nice size. The ratio of chocolate to filling is PERFECT! They are lovingly hand painted - just as beautiful to look at as they are to eat! The flavor of the bonbons are extraordinarily well balanced. The 3 flavors of caramels make me swoon - especially The Lover (passionfruit and cardamom)sooo good! And the ganache fillings - oh my! I am convinced that Raspberry Rendez-vous (raspberries with 64% Madagascan ganache)is the best example of raspberry and chocolate on and off the planet. The Player (smokey single malt scotch with 72% Venezuelen ganache)is soooo sexy! The entire collection is lavish, equisite, delectable, luscious! Go Chocolat Moderne!
