The '06 final blend consists of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 5% Cab Franc, 3% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec. Winemaker Michael Silacci will tell you that due to the cooler temperatures that Mother Nature offered the Napa Valley in 2006, this wine reveals cooler fruit with great natural acidity that will give this wine longevity in the bottle.
