Grown only in France to be served primarily at the table, these full-flavored black olives are harvested each October and have a long, slightly curved shape and a firm texture. Our favorite thing about them is the fact that they're "freestone" olives, which means the flesh doesn't cling to the pit so they're easy to eat.
