Tibvrtini Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Tibvrtini Extra Virgin Olive Oil

In olive oil-producing countries, the hometown variety is generally considered the finest and is savored by the locals and a few lucky tourists. That's what makes this oil so special. It's from an area surrounding Rome, where the olives are grown on the grounds of a 2000-year-old villa and hand-harvested every fall. Unfiltered, peppery and robust - this is truly an extra virgin olive oil to write home about. Italy

Comments about Tibvrtini Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

Unlike a number of supermarket brands of olive oil this one packs the olive punch. It's like biting into fresh olives with a slightly peppery taste at the back of the pallet. I use it in everything from frying to basting or using with fresh grated romano as a topping for crustini--YUM! And its a healthy alternative to boot, rich in monounsaturated fatty acids! What more could you ask for?
