Risotto With Strawberries & Rose Petals

Risotto With Strawberries & Rose Petals

Studded with strawberries and pink rose petals, this is the prettiest risotto we've ever seen, and the flavor is just as lovely. Made from Carnaroli rice, it cooks up rich and creamy with a firm yet soft bite, and adds an exquisite touch of color to the plate. For the best flavor, stir in a half cup of Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay before serving, and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

Comments about Risotto With Strawberries & Rose Petals:

After trying the lavendar/raspberry risotto, we were looking forward to trying the strawberry/rose petal variety. Bad idea. First, it doesn't have rose petals, it has whole roses!!! The smell while cooking was just too overwhelming, and the taste was too sweet. We didn't even serve it. Unless you're extremely adventurous, I'd avoid this product.
