By Regine from Cochran, GA About Me Foodie Pros Flavorful Cons Overpowering Best Uses Comments about Pendleton Barbeque Sauce: We try a lot of barbecue sauces. This one is interesting and does improve with heating, but didn't turn out to be our style of sauce. This is has a sharp up front flavor on the bitter side not quite like any sauce I have had. It has a little heat on the back side, but I would not agree that it is fiery as it's description says. The woody bitter flavor is what turned us off.
