Manicardi Balsamic Vinegar #12

Manicardi Balsamic Vinegar #12

Italians know what they are doing when it comes to making balsamic vinegar. This lovely example is no exception. This aged and authentic Italian Manicardi Balsamic Vinegar is created from the unfermented juice of the white Trebbiano grape. The thick and luscious juice is boiled down to a sweet, intensely fruity syrup that is then aged in a series of barrels made from various woods including, chestnut, mulberry, juniper, oak and cherry. Squisito! Italy

Comments about Manicardi Balsamic Vinegar #12:

Not a bad balsamic but certainly NOT a good value. As you tip the bottle you can tell how thin the liquid is. Very acidic smell when opened.
Not a balanced taste and lacks depth or nuances you expect from the description.
Recently reading a book on balsamic vinegar it mentioned the practice of some vendors to add very small amounts of "real aged" balsamic to regular wine vinegar and market as balsamic vinegar.

Comments about Manicardi Balsamic Vinegar #12:

This condiment is so versatile, you can find many ways to use it. You can drizzle it on salads, use it on chicken as a glaze, and its awesome on pork. Drip it on fresh strawberries for a nice kick, and Ive even made a spicy bruschetta and used it for the topping. So experiment and find your favorite! But definitely buy this one.. Its a pantry staple for me now!
