The Parmigiano-Reggiano DOP Bonati is a D.O.P. cow's milk cheese produced in the province of Parma. The Bonati family has made one of the best parmigianoreggiano we have ever tasted. From a very small dairy, very few wheels are produced each day. Their cheese is very sweet, with a delicate flavor, the aroma is unique. The cow's that produce the milk in this DOP Bonati Parmigiano-Reggiano are fed mostly hay, but also oats, orzo corn flakes, dried fava beans and soy. This produces the very special taste and aroma of this very special cheese.
