We had the crab cakes as our main course accompanied by simple but good vegetables and potaoes - there was nothing special about the crab cakes and we tasted others within the same week that were far superior. Just not up to the Dean & Deluca standard and a bit embarrassing as it was given as a gift from me and shared with me as a special treat.

Had them for a 4th of July party and everyone raved about them... they were the hit of the party. Lots of crab meat...very little filler. They were just excellent. They arrived on time in a conatiner that kept them frozen. Overall, I am more than satisfied.

I rarely write a review, but there are times when I feel that speaking up is important. I cooked up these crab cakes to accompany one of our favorite garden salads for lunch. The conversation turned to ingredients and as I was putting away the box, I read the nutritional value chart.

These crab cakes have over 1000 mgms of sodium, EACH! Now, my partner eats two of these at a time. This it terrible for someone that has high blood pressure. Come on people, stop poisoning us! We hear about fat and sugar, but the amount of sodium food manufacturers are putting in food is criminal.

I won't be ordering these again!
