Adam Koehn, Executive Chef, St. Helena
After receiving a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, Adam Koehn moved to the Napa Valley to fulfill his dream of attending The Culinary Institute of America, graduating with honors in 2009. After culinary school, Adam trained under Bocuse d’Or champion Phillip Tessier at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon in Yountville, and then under Brandon Sharp at the Michelin-starred Solbar in Calistoga, where he was exposed to a wide range of skills including whole animal butchery, bread baking, and pastry.
Adam joined Dean & DeLuca in 2012 as a Sous Chef, after having served as the Chef for a health and wellness retreat focusing on fresh, local produce, and vegan cooking techniques. He has been the Executive Chef of the St Helena Dean & DeLuca since 2013, overseeing the renowned market’s bakery, commissary facility, and delicatessen.
