Into their third vintage, Rob and Tamara Winter are hitting their stride with their new label. Made by Helen Mawson, assistant winemaker of Hundred Acre and former assistant winemaker to Philippe Melka at Vineyard 29, this 2006 cab comes from a few acres on the Winter's property in the foothills of St. Helena as well as some fruit from the base of Howell Mountain. Gorgeous, the 2006 reveals deep notes of purple fruit and just the right touch of earth to give it great balance. This has become one of our favorites- try a bottle or two because we think you'll like it as much as we do. USA
