Vintner and Winemaker Brian Ramian started his winemaking career in France where he attended the University of Bordeaux while working at several small Chateaux including in Bordeaux and in Burgundy. He also attended the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust in London. Brian moved to Napa to continue his education at Napa College and working for several wineries and winemakers of distinction before turning his attentions to specializing in small family-owned projects with unique terroirs. Brian is the winemaker for Ramian Estate, J.Garrett Wines and Parlay NV, his own labels. He is also the winemaking consultant for: Canard Vineyard, Singh Cellars, JACK Wines, Vaquero and several new, non-named winery and vineyard ventures.
