One of the Napa Valley’s iconic, pioneering wineries, Raymond celebrated its first harvest from its Rutherford estate in 1974. Five generations of the Raymond family imbued the winery with its deep roots, dating back to the earliest foundations of winegrowing in the Napa Valley. The original 90-acre estate in Rutherford has since expanded to over 300 acres throughout the Napa Valley while building a legacy of elegant wines with a beautiful balance of finesse, power and complexity. The commitment to maintaining this legacy of family roots and winery tradition is apparent in the Raymond Vineyards wines themselves. A dramatic evolution is taking place at Raymond: the estate is now transition to organic and Biodynamic farming, new Winemaker Stephanie Putnam is elevating winemaking to new heights, and the hospitality experience is now among the most diverse and dynamic in the Napa Valley, all under the guidance of Proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset.
