Young Inglewood Vineyards

We are two generations of the Young family: Jacky and Jim, and Mary and Scott. We are Young Inglewood Vineyards, an exceptional, ultra-premium winegrowing estate located in the Napa Valley, just southwest of St. Helena, California. Our unique site has been under cultivation of Vitis vinifera vineyards for more than 50 years. Young Inglewood Vineyards was founded after Jim and Jacky retired from a multi-decade long career running a software company they co-founded.

In the early 2000s Jacky began widening her wine knowledge, taking classes from UC Davis and the WSET London. She resolved to launch a second career in wine, and was delighted when the rest of the family was enthusiastic about making it a family business. Just as balance of tastes and sensations are the key to a superb wine, balance would be the guiding principle of the new enterprise. A Napa friend let the family know about a property on Inglewood Avenue in St Helena, which had a small farmhouse and 18 acres of grapes, a classic “Bordeaux Blend” of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. After extensive research into the history and terroir of the property, we made the new purchase the focus of our efforts.
