The Cult Wine Club

#CULTENDLES

This is the club for the most discriminating palate. We source those rarest of CA wines and offer them in this club. Offerings from Schrader, Abreu, Dana Estate, Rudd, Harlan and Scarecrow are just a few of the wines we've included in past offerings. Join the club and receive a minimum of three ultra-exclusive wines each quarter. Once you sign up you'll continue to receive wine each quarter until you choose to cancel or stop your membership. And when you next make plans to visit the Napa Valley, we will host you for a private wine tasting at our Wine Headquarters. Due to limited allocations on many of the offerings included, membership is limited to 50 members.

BOND Quella Red 2006

BOND Quella Red 2006

When one thinks of vintner Bill Harlan, precision is a word that immediately comes to mind. Every decision he makes for both Harlan Estate and BOND Estates is calculated with the main goal being perfection. That's evident with all of his offerings to date and BOND's Quella offering is the newest to the list of precise offerings. Sourced from a select vineyard near Howell Mountain, the '06 Quella is predominately Cab and offers intense, concentrated dark fruit with a structure that's made for long-term cellaring. BOND is getting harder to find in the market and I'm fortunate to be able to get some of their releases directly from the winery. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director

Hundred Acre Ark Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Hundred Acre Ark Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

2007 was a spectacular vintage for California Cab, and Jayson Woodbridges Ark Vineyard Cab is a prime example of how Mother Nature blessed the Napa Valley that year. From the hillside of Jayson's property comes this multi-layered, seamless Cab that has one of the most stunning finishes we've ever experienced. We promise you this—all of our wine friends who have tried this Ark '07 offering will tell you that this is truly a special wine unlike any bottling in the marketplace today.

Abreu Madrona Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2000

Abreu Madrona Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2000

While viticulturist David Abreu works to fine tune some of the great Cab vineyards of Napa Valley, he also finds time to tend his own vineyard, Madrona Ranch. Located on the west side of Highway 29 in St. Helena, this phenomenal '00 was just released to us this Fall. Made by the talented Brad Grimes, this Cabernet has a touch of Cab Franc and Petit Verdot in the blend, and offers deep blue and black fruit balanced with smooth tannin. While extremely difficult to obtain, I was able to get a few to share with you. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director

Futo Proprietary Red 2007

Futo Proprietary Red 2007

The lethal combination of winemakers Mark Aubert and Jayson Exposto with David Abreu as vineyard manager has propelled this winery to super-stardom in just a few short vintages. A sumptous blend of 66% Cabernet, 33% Cab Franc and the remainder Petit Verdot from the Estate, this wine showcases its vineyard location, which is tucked into the Western Oakville Bench, neighboring Harlan Estate and BOND. With less than 600 cases produced, we highly suggest a few bottles now.

Grace Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Grace Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Dick and Ann Grace, one of the first vintners in the Napa Valley to be considered a "cult" winery, has been making Cabernet Sauvignon from their five acre vineyard on the western bench of St. Helena since 1978. With the motto of wine acting as "a catalyst for healing our planet," they have donated the sales from the wine sold to support the Grace Family Foundation. Through the years, Dick and Ann Grace have used the proceeds to build health clinics, education centers and clothe children in the far reaches of Tibet, India and within California. For the 2008 vintage, Grace Family Cab has evolved into an elegant, pure Cab with notes of penetrating black and red fruit lifted with floral notes. - Kerrin Laz, WineDirector

Blankiet Estate Proprietary Red 2007

Blankiet Estate Proprietary Red 2007

Located on the western hills of Yountville, Blankiet's Paradise Hills Estate Vineyard is mostly planted to CabernetSauvignon with small lots also planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Managed by David Abreu (think Screaming Eagle), Blankiet's vineyards are densely planted and impeccably maintained to provide exceptional fruit to their estate wines. The Blankiet Estate 2007 is an exciting combination of sweet and bitter aromas shrouded in rich blackberry on the nose with carmalized figs, sweet blue fruits, and big tannins on the palate. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director
