Cherry Pie Stanly Ranch Pinot Noir 2009
The new vintage of Cherry Pie has just arrived. This is Jayson Woodbridge of Hundred Acre's Pinot Noir project. Coming from Stanly Ranch in Carneros, this Napa Pinot reveals a silky smooth texture with lush notes of dark red cherry. Look at the label and there's the flavor profile of this wine. This is one of the few Pinots that we sell out of before the new vintage arrives. I would highly suggest trying a few bottles while we have it available. $58/bottle, $52.2/bottle if you buy a case, either mixed or solid.

Kesner Sandrift Chardonnay 2009
Jason Kesner knows how to make great Chardonnay. From his past experiences at the great Hudson Vineyard and now as assistant winemaker at Kistler Vineyards, Jason's own Sonoma Coast Chards reveal depth without being too heavy and complexity from the immediate aromas to the finish. The '09 Sandrift Chard that Jason produced comes from two sandy hilltop sites near Sebastopol. Driven with stonefruit and mineral notes, this is the perfect Chard for those that don't like oaky Chards. 263 cases produced. $59/bottle net

Kesner Rockbreak Chardonnay 2009
Like the Sandrift Chardonnay that vintner and winemaker Jason Kesner produces, this '09 Chard comes from the Sonoma Coast but comes from a vineyard that has more cobblestone in the vineyard than sandy soil. In the bottle, that means a Chard that is still minerally on the palate but reveals more citrus notes than stonefruit. Fuller in body, this Chard is another great example of what Jason's capabilities are in the vineyard and winery. While Jason continues to make wine at Kistler Vineyards, I'm finding his own Chards to be really unique and balanced. 124 cases produced. $59/bottle net.

SPECIAL PRICING These offerings are low in quantity. Orders will be filled as received.

Buccella Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
In line with the 2007 offering, the '08 possesses a bit more dense fruit. The new winemaking team, consisting of winemaker Rebekah Wineburg and consulting winemaker Celia Welch, is taking a great brand and bringing it to a new level. Sourced from the cool climate region in the southern part of Napa Valley called Coombsville, rich and layered notes of dark fruit fill the glass. Allow the wine to sit for at least an hour before drinking. $153/bottle, now $142/bottle net

Hourglass Blueline Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
A stunning third vintage for vintner Jeff Smith's Blueline Vineyard Cab, this '08 offering is sourced exclusively from his vineyard just north of the town of St. Helena. This Napa Valley Cab reveals rich, smooth notes of blackberry with toasty espresso and cocoa. In line with their '07 vintage, winemaker Bob Foley has nailed down a consistent flavor profile for this exceptional label. $139/bottle, now $115/bottle net

Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Proprietary Red 2007
It's hard to believe that Jason Pahlmeyer's first vintage ofhis flagship Proprietary Red was in 1986. For over 25 years,he's excelled at staying relevant in the wine business and continually producing wines of such high quality and critical acclaim that one not knowing the history, would think this '07 was coming from a new cult winery. Winemaker Erin Green produced an '07 Napa Valley Red that is both focused and elegant. Layered with rich, dark fruit tones, this predominately Cab blend shows complexity and layers that lead to a long, satisfying finish. $119/bottle, now $108/bottle net

Kamen Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
Robert Kamen came to our office a few months ago to share his new vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon and to say the least, we were extremely impressed with its balance of richness and elegance. Showing its potential almost immediately after opening, this '08 has the ability to age very well. If you haven't tried Kamen's offerings, this is the bottling to start with as it shows what winemaker Mark Herold and vineyard manager Phil Coturri can do with a steep mountainous vineyard on the Sonoma side of the Mayacamas Mountains. I highly suggest. $75/bottle, now $60/bottle net

Carver Sutro Petite Sirah 2006
Made by Gary Brookman of Miner Family Winery and Grace Family Vineyards, Carver Sutro is dedicated solely to producing Petite Sirah. And it's in their Palisades Vineyard in the northern part of Calistoga where they grow intensely focused Petite Sirah. The '06 is about as dense of a PS as you can find and is just beginning to show its potential. $46/bottle, now $38/ bottle net

Thanks a lot,
