Randy Lewis just released his 2007 vintages of his reds. What you might have heard is that 2007 was phenomenal vintages for not just Napa, but California as a whole. As much of a crowd pleaser as past vintages, the new Lewis offerings are truley incredible. One of the best blends that Lewis makes, the Alec's Blend has almost become this cult-like blend for those into really unique, full-bodied, opulent reds. The blend consists of 70% Syrah, 20% Cab, 10% Merlot. Full flavors of wild berries permeate the glass with a touch of spice and vanilla. Alec's Blend is one of the most popular of the Lewis wines because it appeals not just to Sryah drinkers but Cab drinkers too. USA
