This is the 2nd vintage release for World's End. Jonathan Maltus is most known as the extremely talented "rebel" winemaker in Bordeaux's St. Emilion at Chateau Teyssier. And now they're making waves in Napa Valley by creating World's End and making single vineyard wines from great vineyards like Andy Beckstoffer's vineyards. Crossfire comes from the Beckstoffer Missour Hopper Vineyard and is located in the south-western corner of Oakville. A richly layered cab, the '09 is fleshy with bold notes of blackberry, deep black cherry and a long finish. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director
