Azur's vintner and winemaker Julien Fayard is a very good winemaker. From his winemaking experiences in Bordeaux at Chateau Lafite Rothschild to his current winemaking consulting with Philippe Melka at Dana Estate and Lail Vineyards, Julien has honed his skills to make compelling offerings for his own Azur label. He and wife Elan Fayard released this '08 Red that is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah offers dense opulence and dark fruit in the glass. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director
