DuMOL Eddie's Patch Syrah 2009

This 420-case production of Eddie's Patch Syrah is DuMOL's tenth vintage of this special single vineyard bottling. While showcasing the ripeness that comes with this special Russian River Valley Syrah, there is elegance and great natural acidity throughout. Cassis and blackberry dominate the palate with notes of clove and a little pepper on the finish. The tannins are smooth but will give this wine the ability to easily age for another 6-8 years. Winemaker Andy Smith has done an incredible job making the DuMOL offerings as well as working at Larkmead Winery as their winemaker.
