We couldn't be more impressed with this compelling debut vintage by Jon Grant, vintner and winemaker of Couloir and Straight Line. While you might have heard about his talents as assistant winemaker at Turley Wine Cellars, we now think of him in terms of his ability to produce pure, balanced wines of his own. Jon sourced all of the fruit for this '07 from the famed Waverly Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. Full-bodied with velvety tannin, this 07 possesses everything we look for in a Central Coast syrah-red and black fruit, dark spice and the perfect amount of black pepper. USA
