Sourced from Rutherford's McGah Family Vineyard, owner and winemaker Mike Smith made 48 cases of this complex 100% Semillon. Honey and mineral notes dominate the palate that finish with a little toasted almond. I would highly recommend this full-bodied White to enjoy on its own or with food. Mike Smith is considered in the inner wine circles to be one of the best up-and-coming winemakers. He started his career as the assistant to Thomas Rivers Brown (winemaker for Maybach, Schrader, Harris Estate and Casa Piena among others) and under Thomas's guidance, Mike was able to hone his winemaking skills to what they are today. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director
