Typically light and crisp, lively Sauvignon Blanc can have a broad range of flavor profiles depending climate and terroir: green olive, asparagus, herbs and fruit like citrus, green apple and melon. When grown in cool regions, the grape can take on a grassy character, while warmer climates bring out tropical fruit and melon flavors. In addition, the grape often expresses the minerals of the soil. Despite this remarkable potential for variation, however, bright acidity will be the common thread between each bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.
