Azur's proprietor and winemaker Julien Fayard started this label with his wife Elan in the French style, where Julien began his winemaking journey. Since living in the Napa Valley, Julien has been consulting with Philippe Melka (of Dana Estate, Vineyard 29, Seavey) on his various winemaking projects and making his own wine Azur. The '11 Sauvignon Blanc is bright with aromatics of citrus and lingers on the palate with minerality to balance out the citrus fruit tones. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director

On a journey to discover life’s pleasures, wine and gastronomy, an American girl, Elan Fayard met a French boy, Julien Fayard while in France. They have come together to craft vivacious wines that expresses their joie de vivre. Focusing on producing three, limited production wines including: Azur  Rosé, Azur Sauvignon Blanc, Azur Proprietary Red Blend. Azur Rosé stands out amongst traditional California rosé for its refinement, balance and refreshing qualities.
