This 2011 SB from Cabaud in Napa Valley is made in the style that their winemaker Luc Morlet is most known for - a fuller-bodied White that is more in-line with the great houses of Bordeaux. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, this new offering has exactly what you'd want in an SB - it has the mineral notes intermixed with lush fruit notes. While it's balanced, it has a fuller mouth feel than many SBs coming out of California today. Luc's skills with making Whites are most evident from his days at Peter Michael.
