Our friends above Auberge Road in Rutherford, Lieff Wines, are making a refreshing SB laced with tropical fruit and melon notes by sourcing from a Yountville vineyard that grows the Sauvignon Musque clone. In the glass, this means a fuller SB but manages to keep a bright acidity on the palate. Winemaker Jeff Ames is talented and it shows in this '10 vintage. - Kerrin Laz, Wine Director
