        Okay, so a wooden spoon is a wooden spoon, right? I thought so too, but then this beauty came tied to the front of my (now ex-)boyfriend's cookbook that he got as a Christmas gift. It really is THAT much better than my other wooden spoons (and they came from a very reputable kitchen shop!)

        Nice stout handle, smooth wood, thick lip on the end of the spoon -- and it doesn't make awful clanging noises when you bang it against the side of the pot.

        I almost "accidentally" kept this spoon when we broke up...
