Heirloom Cranberry Sauce

A delicious, classic condiment used as a glaze for poultry and meats or as a warm sauce for all kinds of sweets and deserts.

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the orange juice.
  2. Stir in the cranberries and cook until the cranberries start to pop (about 10 minutes). Remove from the heat and place sauce into a bowl.
  3. The cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools. Garnish with citrus zest for an added touch.
