Societe Roquefort is perhaps the finest blue cheese in the world. This French national treasure is cave-aged by the Societe Fromagerie and produced from unpasteurized ewe's milk that has been grazed on the vast plateaus of the Aveyron. Socit Roquefort has an ivory-colored paste with blue-green veins that is firm, yet crumbly. It is creamy but bold; both tangy and spicy. An amazing cheese that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a fresh baguette, dried fruit, Sauternes or other sweet white wines.
